Jean Kemper is a member of the South Fork Poetry Workshop on the East End of Long Island, New York. Her poetry has appeared in, among other places, Main Street Rag, West Wind Review and Mid American Poetry Review. Her articles and short stories have appeared in The New York Times, Women's World, The East Hampton Star and other publications. She has been writing "since Junior High—a long time ago." Married twice; three sons. "For most of my life, have been a political activist, working for Peace and Human Rights."
